The Function Junction mixed residential/commercial development located on 2.15 ha (5.3 ac) at the entrance to Whistler’s industrial core will re-establish the Nation’s presence on its Traditional Territory in that community. Construction on the 2.15 ha (5.3 ac) piece of land started earlier this year. Upon buildout, the development will feature three residential/commercial buildings and a mixed fuelling station for gas, diesel, and electric vehicles.
Located in Mount Currie, in the heart of Líl̓wat Nation, approximately 35 km north of Whistler, the Líl̓wat Business Group (LBG) consists of limited partnerships in the retail, forestry, and construction sectors. Additionally, LBG operates both capital asset and management services divisions. The organization’s mandate is to create and grow a sustainable economy for Líl̓wat Nation by forging business opportunities that respect cultural values, generate jobs, and re-establish Lil̓wat7úl presence on the Nation’s Territory including Pemberton and Whistler.
