LBG is currently planning a mixed residential/commercial development on the Highway Yards, 3.9 ha (8.4 ac) at the south entrance to Pemberton. Capital Assets is exploring building a hotel and commercial spaces as the first phase of this development, which is being planned to include a variety of housing options to be developed over a 20-25 year period. Site prep for this project that will further re-establish Lil̓wat7úl presence on the Nation’s Traditional Territory, is anticipated to begin in FY 2025.
